A Divided Country: Religious Liberty and Atheistic Influences

In a country where tolerance is waning and where people of various religious and ethnic backgrounds undermine the founding moral structure, there is a hope that one day we can remain "one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

I am an avid outdoors nut with a love for God. I spend as much time as possible outside hiking and mountain biking. I am active in youth ministry and am currently deciding between youth ministry and biology as a career path. I also have the most incredible people in my life. Most notably, my girlfriend, Jodi. It's definitely amazing how God can bless you so much through only one person. ;)

Ever wondered?

Have you ever wondered? Of course, we all wonder. I was wondering. I was wondering what I should write in my next post. I was thinking about 9/11 and the tsunami and decided that would be my post. It will be about the BIGGER picture. You know paul and silas? They probably why God let them be beaten and taken into prison. But remember in the end they saved a soul. Their situation seemed pretty helpless. Not many of us have been hauled off, beaten, and thrown in prison. They must have felt pretty discouraged. After 9/11 and during the tsunami disaster, people all felt discouraged and felt hopeless. But I believe that when we get to heaven, we will see the bigger picture. Remember this:)

The bigger picture.
Too many people do not open their eyes to understand that there is a bigger picture. Many people choose to lead a selfish way of life and live only for their moment, not thinking of the others around them, which includes everything in Nature. There are many ways in which too look at what some would consider tragic things. Perhaps 9/11 happened in attempt to unlock humanity from their chains of Greed and lust. Opening them up to a better life of Love, realizing that they should cherish every moment that they have been gifted with by living in the physical world. Perhaps, it happened to allow many souls to pass over to the higher realms where they will be safe if far more worse situations are to reign down upon this beautiful Earth. Perhaps it happened simply because this is a battlefield. Not a battle field like many would understand. But a Battle of one between Light and Dark.
There is indeed a BIGGER picture.
